Lucky Maze Of Madness

Cassie decides to chill out and examine the lions

Axel continues on. The maze is really quiet. He'd like to say 'too quiet', but he can hear birds singing faintly and it reminds him of a summer's day. Is he losing his mind? He comes to an opening on the right. You can choose to continue ahead or take the right.


omegaflash4 looks around a little, then decides what the heck. His curiosity gets the better of him and he reaches out to touch one of the lions' heads. The lion roars, snapping out and nearly taking off your hand! The other lion gives an almighty roar, causing the whole maze to shake and a wall to slide closed behind you. There are two doors in this wall. You must answer this riddle to escape being eaten by the lions:

One of us lions speaks the truth. The other lion only tells lies. Behind one door is the way out. Behind the other is certain doom. You must ask only one question to one of us lions to aid your escape. What will it be?


niipaan searches around the room and finds a little pouch dangling on a cobweb from the ceiling. It contains 5 tickets! You tuck the pouch away. You can choose to go back the way you came or take the exit.


Cassie examines the lions, pulling faces at their stony muzzles. Suddenly you hear a low growling, and one of the lions opens its jaws wide, taking a deep breath and speaking. You can choose to solve this riddle for a prize or leave and go back to the crossroads.

I never was, am always to be,
No one ever saw me, nor ever will,

*runs out exit in a flurry of excitement*

Axel takes a right turn. He comes again to another T-junction. You can choose to go back, turn left or turn right.


niipaan rushes out of the exit and follows the path round to a crossroads. You can choose to turn left or turn right.

LEFT! *is becoming addicted/crazy in this maze*

Axel turns left, his breath quickening as adrenaline courses through his body. Is it just him or is it getting harder to breathe around here? That mist around his feet is getting pretty thick, too. Alas, he reaches a dead end! You can choose to stay and look around or go back.

*sneaks to the right certain to find a llama*

niipaan darts to the right, skipping down the path and coming to a dead-end with two llama-looking-lion statues. You can choose to stay and look around or go back.

I HAVE COME TO FAR TO GO BACK NOW LLAMA LIONS Q W Q

Axel stays for a moment to look around. He looks at the hedges - because that's really all there is to see here. Suddenly a strangely artificial gust of wind picks up, the mist swirling up in your face. You reach up to fan it out of your face and in your kerfuffle you somehow drop your pouch of tickets and it drops to the floor, opening up and spewing them across the floor. The wind picks up 5 of your tickets and you watch them blow away, never to be seen again. You sigh as the mist recedes completely and the silence resumes. You can choose to stay or go back.


niipaan stays and waves cutely at one of the lions. It simply stares back at her with a stony gaze. She casts her gaze over the other lion -- but it has become a llama! And a real one at that! It grins at her and sticks its tongue out. Stuck to its tongue is 1 ticket! You quickly grab it and thank the llama. It trots into the hedge, disappearing behind the leaves without a trace. You can choose to stay or go back to the crossroads.

"**** you wind!" Axel stomps back out of the room

Axel angrily makes his way back down the path and comes to the junction. You can choose to turn right or continue on.

Cassie thinks very VERY hard about what the answer to the riddle might be. Then, out of nowhere, she bursts into song again "The sun will come out..TOMORROW!" then does jazz hands.

That llama was so nice I'm really glad I followed him here but I don't know what to do know :< llama-sama help mee >o<////

Well I guess the llama has helped me enough today I better flip a coin
*shifts through purse can only find a nickel.* Well here goes nothing

Axel continues on, still thumping out his steps on the ground. He stomps all the way to the end of the path and comes to another dead end! He is close to crying out in anger! You can choose to stay and look around or go back.


Cassie puts on her best show grin and hopes that the lions approve. A dramatic pause - and then suddenly the left lion seems to crack a crooked smile. The other lion opens its jaws and present you with a small pouch. You take it graciously, giving a little curtsey. The pouch contains 10 tickets! You can choose to stay or go back to the crossroads.
