Midnight Tea Parties!

Dylan and I humbly invite you to gather around the fire place with your mugs filled with coffee, tea, hot coco, or any comfy hot beverages! We are bringing a new kind of show to the boards! (And we have lots of blankets ;D)

Within a span of 8 weeks, contestants will sing songs that you would normally listen to alone. Soft, emotional songs carried out by the acoustics of a single instrument or a solemn band.

This is meant to be a very chill show, but still a competition! And with that we have interesting rules to bring to the table. In the range of contestants entering, they will either be able to pick to their own song or have their song choice be picked by the judges. (Which isn't that bad if you think about it because Dylan and I are VERY good at picking songs for people Razz

)

Depending on the night, midnight tea party rules dictates- THE LAST SHALL BE FIRST, AND THE FIRST SHALL BE LAST.

For example, on the first round going on to the second round- all those who scored in the top shall have their songs picked out by the judges, and all those who scored in the bottom half will have freedom to pick their own songs. Then next week we'll flip flop so that all those who scored in the top half shall pick their own songs, while all those who scored in the bottom half will have their song choices picked out by the judges. And we'll go on and on like that until the finale.

Just for clarification, Dylan and I will be embedding songs into the audition rounds from other favorite playlists to show what kind of style we're hoping to attract. Also you can record songs ahead of time since the whole show is just going to be one theme anyway lol But like... keep in mind for the judge's choice Razz

((Make sure, during the listens, to bring something hot to drink... so it can be a real midnight tea party!!! liquor works too but I'm not condoning that for any minors ))
